Opportunity to gain vast experience in different sides of business, i.e. selling, purchasing, inventory management, account management etc.

Cons

Poor pay, no real incentives, disconnect between middle/upper management and store level employees. Company only cares about $$$ and no real regard for employees.

Fastenal is very flexible. I enjoy the job and the people. I enjoy the customers. The flexibility to do what you need to do is awesome.

Cons

The pay has went down each of the past 2 years and the insurance rates have went up. The pay calculator changes too often and usually in the benefit of the company but not the employee.
