      Poor Warehouse Management

      Pros

      Easy to get raises at first, monthly bonuses are not difficult to get if you are a decent worker.

      Cons

      Bad training, poor management, employees are told not to expect to work in the warehouse for more than a year.

      They paid a dollar more than minimum wage.

      Cons

      HIGH turnover rate because the company sucks for employee structure... meaning... My district manager said "we don't do reviews or give raises at all, to anyone". I was there 9 months. I worked with uneducated idiots who had no idea how to speak to employees or coach or train. In two weeks my district manager was replaced and my store manager quit. I had to work with a coworker who I had called HR on on because he liked to yell at me when know one was around. HR didn't care. Fastenal HONESTLY was the worst company I have EVER worked for. I have never had a company care less about me.... New hires... Good luck!

      Pros

      Money is really the only thing. But they expect you to work significantly harder than what you make.

      Cons

      I have worked part time for 2 years and am now basically expected to run the department so the manager can go on break... for 4 hours. They expect you to work overtime if they need it. I have put in 57 hours in a single week there, my manager put in 40 that same week.
