      Pros

      I have worked an internship / part-time at Fastenal for roughly 6 months while in college. I have gained valuable experience in the operational side of the business and have gained valuable sales knowledge. This company has a really good culture and my co-workers are all great people!

      - fast paced and your always on the go - managers put a lot of trust in you - get to drive the company car around - flexible hours - promote from within

      Cons

      - sometimes your stuck at the store and time can go by really slow - a very high emphasis is placed on sales and how Important it is to the company

      I have really good managers who are very understanding and interactive. The pay is ehhh I make 11$ an hour but it was my first job. You can expect to start at 12$ if it not your first and 13+ depending on your certifications and experience

      Cons

      I work in houston tx. I dont know if its just the place where i work but there isnt much opportunity for overtime. Only like 8 hours on saturday. Im 19 living with my paretns so 11$ an hour is just free money for me. But for people who work here with kids, bills and responsibilites it'll be a little tuff and thats where overtime would usually kick in but they dont offer much of it at least at the houston branch i work at. Not many raises either. The exuse is always ohh the oil and gas is down now so we caant really give anyone a raise
