      Pros

      Job security is the biggest benefit working here. Won’t have to worry about being layed off.

      Cons

      For the Amount of work you do & contribute to the company, the pay is not worth it. Other jobs in the same industry pay more for doing the same task.

      Pros

      Good people, network, and opportunities. I started out as part time employee in college, graduated college and Fastenal provided me with the opportunity to move up and now I'm in Finance. I've been able to communicate with VPs of the company as well. Overall, I've gained great experience.

      Cons

      Pay is poor. $40k is not enough for someone who lives anywhere near a big city. I can't move out of my parent's house because the pay stinks and everyone knows it. Management acts like they pay you enough (they know they don't). Management should earn my salary every two weeks and let's see how they like it! My workload has increased significantly but my pay stayed stagnant. I'm currently looking for new jobs and realized I can make $15k-$20k more for the exact same work. Employees are being ripped off!
