Pros

FDM provides training for graduates and places them into some companies with big names. From there it is up to you to make an impression with those companies, but the opportunity is there if you do get placed

Cons

FDM do not pay you for the 4 weeks of training and don’t pay you before you get your first placement, You may not get placed and end up spending 8 weeks unpaid only to come out with nothing.

Pros

From training, to access to multinational and fortune 500 companies. Depending on the client pool available, FDM really helps you get the big clients meaning your experience most often is incredibly beneficial to your career trajectory. They train you up from interviewing to cv and the most needed skills in finance and tech so that's great too. This is the 3rd year I've been there, and I can attest that the current HR Personnel in HK has been incredible and supportive of the consultants, their initiatives and approach has elevated my view of FDM Group as a whole. Most of the staff who guide the consultants are amazing too, including the account managers, it has made me proud to be from FDM and continue to try my best to represent it well.

Cons

The initial 2 year lock, but one can either take that as not or also beneficial because you secure and tie yourself to 2 years meaning those 2 years will be in your resume. It depends on which client you land and the placement experience. The tests you have to go through with the ~2 month training is quite challenging too but you have learned a lot and have good resources on hand by the end of that.
