      Poor training, internal support non existent, slavery

      Prestigious clients - allows you to get a foot in the door.

      Cons

      Training operated and over valued, you could get same level of training for free on YouTube. The valuation of 20k is ridiculous. Internal HR staff and not familiar with; employment law, Maternity/ Paternity laws and pay. Account managers don't care unless they can make a commission out of you. Recruiters con you into signing up, I.e. " it doesn't matter about being geographically flexible, you get to say no if you don't want to move to the other side of the country" Training unpaid Your first salary can be months from when you first started.

      Pros

      well, the salary is fixed for 2 years and to say that FDM is exploitative (saw this comment in one of the reviews), is quite ridiculous. No company or model will work for everyone but I can justify that during covid, I was paid my allowance, was not placed for months but was not made redundant by them. They kept me employed during a difficult time and continued paying me, does this sound like an exploitative model to anyone?

      If you have a comsci or IS degree and know clearly what you want to do, you probably wont want to join because you could easily dive into the roles of your dreams without FDM but for graduates like me with STEM but not IT background, I NEED FDM TO HELP ME BUILD MY CAREER IN IT.

      Not much at all to be honest...

      Cons

      Well first of all they made me wait and waste almost 4-5 months of my life with little communication on when a start date may be. In fact it felt completely awkward to ask at one stage. When they do finally offer me a start date it’s always within two days. Anybody with a job has little to no chance of reaching that start date... Treat you like cattle. You are the product and you are treated like that.
