      Good place to start, but not to stay

      Pros

      Decent healthcare, the training program is a great way for entry-level employees to quickly get their general skillset where it should be to do development work, many clients will take you on full time

      Cons

      Clients may choose to keep extending your contract instead of taking you on full time to save on costs, you may have to move, training can be fast-paced and rigorous for trainees without any prior exposure to some concepts

      Low pay + inadequate training = FDM

      Pros

      Only if you are desperate like I was.

      Cons

      Cons: 1. Low Pay, 2. They say that they provide you with training and that's why the pay is low. This is absolutely not true as my final placement and prior training didn't have any relationship. 3. Minimal leave/sick leave benefits. For example, due to COVID I had to take a week of leave. I got only 2 paid days (because the Quebec Government mandated this) and rest of the 3 days were unpaid. Hence if you have some sort serious illness then u have to take either "unpaid" leave or FDM might outright let you go. 4. Every couple of months you will get stuck with mandatory training that doesn't have anything to do with your job. 5. Its a two year binding contract!

      If you got no experience they give you train If you got put in placement good I guess

      Cons

      Bad organise company Bad communication in company 0 support from staff Will fire you for no reason and blame you Even put in company u won't do what u train for. Know people there got put in company as data engineer do nothing related to data at all no python no sql nothing. Promis will put in company some people got no interview for 6 month and still nothing Even u did nothing wrong you can get fired from it
