Pros

- Attentive trainers, account managers and support staff that will ensure your success. - Guaranteed placements for those who succeed in training (no lay-offs if you are meeting the standard) - Assist individuals new to the workforce with training and guidance on how succeed before you start working (beneficial to recently graduated students and military veterans). - Great office culture. You will feel welcomed and never left out. Everyone here has an open door policy. -Aggressive expansion. more clients, more locations means more placements and jobs for consultants. -Huge support for recruitment of veterans and continued support for consultants who are veterans. Benefits including pay continued for consultants who are drilling with the Reserve or National Guard.

Cons

- salary is not commensurate with previous experience before FDM. Business model is geared towards to potential candidates who will benefit from the training. - unpaid training during 2014. Unsure if this policy has changed.

Pros

- You get to work for some very prestigious companies, and there are opportunities abroad. - They do not discriminate on basis of former grades, programming experience or anything else. Instead, it is a very open and encouraging company, for the most part. - Very young and dynamic culture, with a beautiful HQ to boot. You feel very welcome there. - Training is high quality, and I felt that it was very commercial, covering areas that uni had glossed over. - Good facilities (a library, access to material online)

Cons

- - Very dynamic but also of a beehive mind. If you do not fit in, they will remind you of that and toss you out if you cannot adapt. - No security, as you can be kicked out any time during the training (so be very careful about moving etc., at least before the induction period). - Sales driven and it does come strongly across that they care more about their clients than the consultants - There is quite a bit of miscommunication and omission of truth

Pros

Self-taught training is a good thing to gain

Cons

- ''training'' is mostly teaching yourself as trainers can be away on meetings for whole days. - training does not really cater to beginners - trainees are dispensable and you have little say in where you want to work. - misinformation is a regular part of life at FDM - you can be unplaced and unpaid for up to 90 days after you complete your training (which you are not told prior to your training) - like all other companies, FDM only cares about profit for itself however they will lie and make false claims and contradict each other
