      FDM got me where I wanted to be

      Pros

      For a new graduate like myself I did not have a hope of getting a job in the IT sector without experience FDM gave me that experience and, to be completely honest, I have loved my time with them. Heck, I've just signed up for year 3! If you need a kickstart for your career then look no further

      Cons

      Having to be geographically flexible is a pita however I was beached (between contracts) for a couple of months after Xmas and whilst they still do expect that we be flexible they will endeavour to place you according to preference after a little time served. Sick pay....oh wait no they now do pay sick pay :)

      the training is good and they have many amazing clients. Good environment, friendly people, for the most part

      low salary for the first two years, the coffee really IS terrible

      Great exposure as a graduate Large client portfolio Great place to gain experience Easy to get in Good pay package negotiable after the second year

      Cons

      Poor pay first 2 year Poor support structure Bit of a ruthless corporate culture Not much say in where you end up Lots of clauses during first 2 year contract Terrible annual leave allowance basically treated like a contractor at a client site, whilst not being paid like one
