Pros

- lots of opportunies - high profile clients - training program is good and thorough - plenty of opportunity to meet like minded people - very good place to be especially straight after uni as FDM attracts a lot of graduates (since i believe this is their main target) - good place for ex forces as well

Cons

- might not get the exact role you desire i spent a considerable amount of time in a role i did not desire, that is not to say the role was not a good opportunity as i still learnt a lot that eventually was useful for me but be aware you might not get exactly what you are looking for, but what you are looking for may not be what you need. - it is a bit of a gamble partially due to reason above, but also because the training is unpaid and after you finish training you have 3 months in order to be hired, you are not paid for that time either but still expected to come in and 'self-develop'. This means you could go potentially 5-6 months unpaid if you've chosen the lengthiest training stream (roughly 2-3 months) and still not be hired yet. However generally getting hired as a technical consultant was not too difficult in my experience, but experiences most definitely vary. - the account managers are salesmen this is not a judgement based on every account manager at FDM but at the end of the day business is business and sometimes they can make you feel nothing more than a product, however there have also been some who are amazingly understanding and supportive
