Pros

Some very smart people. Fun to work in an area people are usually excited about.

Cons

Lack on consistency in work and messaging. Too focused on making a buck. Too many very smart people totally wasted.

Pros

The travel benefits are pretty good and there are a lot of good people at Expedia.

Cons

It really depends on the department you are in. Some departments seem to be well supported by management while others seem to receive no support.

Pros

Analytical abilities are valued, accessibility of senior management, great business model (not capital intensive)

Cons

Past success of the company lends itself to a sense of entitlement, and numerous changes in upper management mean employees hired under previous "regimes" are undervalued. Lots of finger pointing and window dressing, lots of managing up..which in turn causes everyone to be randomized to "please" the higher ups
