      Pros

      Competitive salary, modern office in a very good location, nine/eighty schedule is flexible and convenient, parking provided to full time employees.

      Cons

      Less transparent HR than many competitors (especially regarding salary adjustments and promotions), very contractor heavy workforce leads to uncertainty in job security, lack of travel and training opportunities for those in affiliate locations like Houston.

      People are really nice and happy to help.

      Cons

      The company is filled with politics and the best do not always get the job - but that is the same in most companies. Being a giant state-owned company, the mentality is still a little old-fashioned, and the company a little too hierarchical and formal. It's not the most dynamic of companies, but the people are nice and you can learn. You may just have to look elsewhere for career progression.
