Eni is a multinational company and employee have the opportunity to experience abroad (especially for engineer) even if the process could take some years and it is not a straight process. Overall is a good company especially in Italy and Milan. If you enter with a permanent contract you could receive many benefit and have those experience abroad.

Cons

There is too much bureaucracy and less meritocracy. Young and smart people are not always threated as they should be in terms of contracts/salary. Unfortunately I've been told many times about having a permanent contract which also allow you to have the much more benefit, but in the end I've been there almost 3 years with just temporary contracts ("contratti a porgetto").
