Pros

As a fresher, a good company to start your career if you are lucky enough to get good manager. Oppertunities to learn new technologies by nominating yourself and can attend many technical sessions by expertise if you have time and interest.

Cons

Ground level people are really techie who are poorly managed by people who doesn't know the management. Infrastructure and internal fecility teams are really road blockers and they are doing just opposite of fecility. The worst is OOC. They think they are GOD. Some green tag people will be assigned as supervisor who doesn't know anything about your work, achievements or talent. They will review your appraisal and provide you the rating. there is no room for further discussion and changing the rating. No relationship to your appraisal rating and hike, promotions. If you ask about your ratings, managers or supervisor reply would be don't worry about ratings. Hike is not tied to appraisal rating. You cannot change the project if you are comfortable to work. If you approach for a change of a project, you are screwed. Worst part is cafeteria. Trust me, I feel vomiting even now if I think about food.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
