the other workers know how awful it is so everyone tries to be kind to one another and make it feel less terrible.
Cons
management and expectations. if you're not a favorite or in the inner circle do not expect much. its not uncommon if you end up either losing your will to try and half way do your job or get abused and do the work of 2-5 people.
