Pros

Absolutely none. I would never recommend this company. There isn't any good in this company. They are terrible to their employees.

Cons

Everything is a downside here. They will cut your pay, your hours, your everything , and look at you like ...what. its a terrible..company, there's no benefit here. They are lazy, inconsiderate, lying brown nosers.. working here will be a step down no matter where u r. McDonald's would treat you better than this dump. Managers talk to you like you're stupid, most stores the staff is rude, lazy and overall useless . They cut and cap your pay , and think there nothing wrong with doing this repeatedly. I spent 10 years there , I had enough. This company is ungrateful, cheap, and full of the biggest pile of bullcrap you could ever imagine. They do not care about their employees at all. They will look at you and say so what, after doing all these awful things. This is no place for anyone decent. Management doesn't listen, they bald face lie to keep themselves out of trouble. They gang up on other staff that they know will tell on them. Walgreens is a joke. And a terrible one at that. They look for reasons to fire long timers to avoid paying benefits and retirement. Loss prevention is another problem, they bully people simply because they can. Those lp guys are constantly on a power trip, yet have no idea what they're doing. God awful.

Pros

Can be a fun environment. All in whom your staff is. Operating photo was fun and building projects for the customers. Learning about pharmacy operations.

Cons

Work life balance and low pay for what is expected. Not having enough payroll to effectively run a store. My store ran FE on a 320 hour a week budget. That was barely enough to get buy and meet the expectations put out by the company. I was never able to keep a full leadership staff. When a leader called out, I had to stay. There were days I was called away from my own dinner table. SM's were forced to be in the pharmacy for more than half of their day regardless as to what is happening in the FE. I worked over 50 hours a week and barely got to spend time with my family. If I wasn't at the store I was getting a phone call and having to go back to the store.
