Pros

The only positive thing was getting a paycheck every two weeks.

Cons

I am not a disgruntled employee. All of the negative reviews are 100% accurate. If you have a choice, please go to a company that value you as an employee. Patient Care Coordinator are trained to schedule deliveries for medications. PCC are forced to take pharmacy calls and insurance verifications calls that you are not trained. When you attempt to transfer a call to pharmacists or the insurance teams, they will not let you transfer the call. Even though you are receiving calls that should be handled by another team, you will be forced to take these calls. You are constantly yelled and cursed at daily. Most of the callers do not like Walgreens and are forced to use the pharmacy due to their insurance plan. At the current location, the cubicles are so small that you can barely fit the whole computer. You get a number on your desk, not a name plate. You get a 30 minute break and there are no fast food restaurants near the building. You get an occurrence even when you are one minute late. You can't eat your desk. You can't have any personal items on your desk. Prisoners had more freedom than PCC. Do not work for Walgreens. If you want to be valued as a person and if you want to treat callers with respect, please do not work there. This experience was one of the worst experiences on a job that I have ever had. I started with 50 people in my training and it was down to 10 people within six months. Two of the people in my training class was openly applying for jobs at other companies People just want to be treated with respect and feel valued on the job. Walgreens treat their employees like a number. They want to take everything from you and give you nothing back on return.

Pros

Can be a fun environment. All in whom your staff is. Operating photo was fun and building projects for the customers. Learning about pharmacy operations.

Cons

Work life balance and low pay for what is expected. Not having enough payroll to effectively run a store. My store ran FE on a 320 hour a week budget. That was barely enough to get buy and meet the expectations put out by the company. I was never able to keep a full leadership staff. When a leader called out, I had to stay. There were days I was called away from my own dinner table. SM's were forced to be in the pharmacy for more than half of their day regardless as to what is happening in the FE. I worked over 50 hours a week and barely got to spend time with my family. If I wasn't at the store I was getting a phone call and having to go back to the store.
