Pros

-Fully Remote -High Visibility To Leadership -Open Vacation Days -Opportunity To Make Real Impact And Create Change -Empowered To Own As Many Projects As You Can Handle -New Hire Stipend To Set Up Home Office

Cons

-No Process Of Workflow Whatsoever Due To High Turnover -Poor Communication. No One Knows What They're Doing Or What Other Cross-Functional Teams Do. Teams Are Very Siloed -The Leadership Team Has No Clear Direction. They Don't Share Information With Org And Are Very Secretive With The Future Of The Company Causing There To Be Bad Morale Across The Board -The Upwork SaaS Product Is Bad. Employees And Customers Don't Understand What Upwork Offers Because They're Always Shifting The Company Focus Which Keeps The Brand Reputation Poor and Unknown -The Marketing Leadership Team Restructured At Least Three Times In One Year And Pushed Out Really Good Employees Just To Replace Them With Worse Leads -No Room For Internal Growth. The Title You're Hired At Will Likely Be Your Title Until You Leave The Company

Pros

Pay and benefits were pretty good. Only reason I stayed.

Cons

Chaotic leadership. People are constantly busy doing things that don't matter as there is no clear understanding of what the strategy is or what success looks like.
