Pros

Good clients to work for

Cons

1) If you place a request which involves cost, you cannot see any response from Sr Management 2) They offer you something in terms of dialogues, But action will make you weird 3) Best place for Kerala people, not for others 4) No value for the Employee 5) Policies do change from person to person. Some set of people will have Querterly, some will have half yearly, some people have Annual performance bonus. I donot know, why this deviation from person to person. 6) No trainings, certifications reimbursements, individual development opportunities. 7) Especially Admin,HR,Finance Teams will think about them as the super natural powers , and feel like they are doing social ,charity work for the people called employees of UST. They donot respond for any request before 5 days from the request. Simple, If you need any info/support from these teams, you should start begging them before 5 days. 8) Escalations, suggestion,...etc wonot work out. You will realise that very soon after joining. People make decision to quit. 9) Interestingly, you have to sit Ideal for 15 to 20 days to get your Reliving, Exp documents after quitting the company. Because no other company will allow you to join with out formal reliving letter. :-) 10) My only suggestion is, not a place for the guys, who want to work Hard & Grow.

Pros

One of the things I value most about UST is the people. I have worked with supportive colleagues and leaders who are approachable and willing to help when needed. If you take ownership of your work and consistently deliver, you are trusted with greater responsibilities rather than being micromanaged. The company offers exposure to global clients, diverse technologies, and teams across different regions, which keeps the work interesting and helps you grow professionally. Learning opportunities are available for those who actively seek them out, and I have always felt encouraged to share ideas and improve the way we work. Like any large organization, your experience will depend on your project and manager, but overall I have found UST to have a collaborative culture where people genuinely work together to solve problems and support each other's success.

Cons

Cons Work life balance can vary depending on the project. Some delivery phases require extended hours, but better planning during peak periods would help.
