Thank you for your thoughts. At ULS we’re a global community, working together to help create a safer world and we are glad you were able to experience this collaborative, global culture.
UL Solution is focused on supporting employees with access to award-winning development programs at all career stages, in addition to ongoing technical development. We have a structured performance management and career development program focused on employees and managers that is anchored by quarterly check-ins that look at performance, our ways of working and career aspirations. Thank you for this feedback.
UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.
Cons
UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.

Internal processes and approvals may require patience and persistence.
Organizational complexity can sometimes create challenges when navigating cross-functional initiatives.
Career progression may occasionally depend on understanding and adapting to corporate dynamics.
