Pros

They give good laptops and headphones

Cons

-While tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon empower their developers with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, UL Solutions chooses to block even basic Copilot access. Because who needs efficiency when you can have more manual coding? -Food is paid -They provide cabs but you have to pay for it only - very small team for multiple projects. Team size is 2-3 people who handles multiple project. On top of that they blocked copilot also. - No welcome gift, no WFH setup, no

Pros

UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.

Cons

UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.

Pros

Strong brand reputation and credibility in the marketplace. Excellent opportunity to gain experience in sales, compliance, testing, certification, and regulatory industries. Friendly, knowledgeable, and collaborative colleagues who are willing to help each other succeed. Good work-life balance compared to many sales organizations. Stable business with diverse industries and customers. Professional development opportunities and exposure to complex customer challenges.

Cons

Typical large-company bureaucracy can slow decision-making and execution. Internal processes and approvals may require patience and persistence. Organizational complexity can sometimes create challenges when navigating cross-functional initiatives. Career progression may occasionally depend on understanding and adapting to corporate dynamics.
