      Nice cafeteria, met some great coworkers and friends, nice lake trail for walking around, ample parking, the job paid decent enough, benefits were pretty good

      Cons

      Unequitable pay/advancement, human resources was much more worried about growing other departments and putting on a good face for leadership than building within their own team

      Pros

      UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.

      UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.
