Pros

It has an ok work/life balance with some roles allowing for hybrid workweek.

Cons

UL has slashed benefits including profit sharing, reduced annual salary bumps, raised insurance premiums, and lowered staff morale all while racking in record profits for the top execs. It used to be a great place to work but they got rid of the long time employees since they no longer value our loyalty.

We have recently restructured our benefits package to be more in line with market offerings and to standardize our offerings. We include every employee in the annual employee incentive bonus program and will include all employees in the employee stock purchase program, with a global rollout in progress. Stable business with diverse industries and customers. Professional development opportunities and exposure to complex customer challenges.

Organizational complexity can sometimes create challenges when navigating cross-functional initiatives.
