Pros

Each production site is a close knit, high functioning team. Lean staffing practices will challenge young talent early. Recent efforts around establishing rigorous business practices have been painful but, will pay off in the long term.

Cons

Senior leadership is comprised of expatriates who have little understanding of the US workplace/workforce and tenured Americans who have lost touch with that same workforce. Above a certain level, promotional opportunities are not available without expatriation although, those Americans who have expatriated do not fare any better concerning promotional opportunities. Business strategy is Euro-centric. Market intelligence that doesn't align with European projections is summarily dismissed. Significant regrettable departures in last 2 years at all levels of the organization.

Pros

American managers do their best to create a good culture.

Cons

You have to be French to succeed or move up. And you aren't highly regarded if you don't speak French.
