Leadership does not care. My time at Target I was hyped up by everyone for 2 years and the minute I expressed interest in a promotion they then told me the things I was doing wrong. I am a male and my wife and I had a child during my time at Target and in my last day at Target I was told I did not get promoted because my priorities were not on Target when I took leave when my child was born. Yes, that statement is true and it is what I was told in my exit interview.
