Pros

Federal Job, Federal Benefits, Lots of opportunities to do other details, easily build people skills as well as trained in social engineering

Cons

Coworkers have less than two years experience, anyone that has some comprehension of what the job requires and can do the job well either finds a better job in the BOP or CBP mostly BOP, or is run out of town. Everyone is at each others throats about pointless details of the job, and management bends over backwards to pretty much anybody that is not a TSO. Ow yeah and you will lose whatever life you had before joining the shifts are terrible you work an eight hour shift five days a week the airport is open from 3 to 11 best shifts go to the most senior. I was there five years never had the option of sat sun best i got was fri sat and that was for the year before I resigned. Good luck to whoever applies.
