DO NOT JOIN THE SINGAPORE ENTITY - General Laborer T-Systems Employee Review

Pros

Re-posting as there is more to add. Some colleagues only wish to do their jobs and are willing to help each other. However, even those who were good at their job have been forced to leave, either because they are burned out or because they are asked to leave verbally. The management has no idea that the people who left the company are talented.

Cons

Do not join this company is what I want to say. All who joined feel that an SME company can provide better benefits. The benefits are a joke and not competitive. This higher power person still wants to be in control of a single thing. Micromanaging on every single thing is not friendly for business continuity. Now, getting approval or arranging meetings has become challenging. Unfortunately, this person struggles with time management and often arrives late for scheduled meetings. This lack of consideration and respect for employee time causes meetings to run longer than necessary, leading to a loss of trust and wasted time for those who could have been working on other projects. The physical presence of employees in the office does not guarantee productivity or job performance. A few people will always take tea breaks for more than one hour, yet the work is never completed on time. The company should focus on setting clear performance metrics and holding employees accountable for meeting them. Extending contracts to individuals who are not delivering results and wasting company expenses on hiring employees who are not performing is unacceptable. The company needs to prioritise employee welfare and find ways to incentivise and support them to improve overall productivity. The company's performance is unsatisfactory, and the bonuses and increments offered are a joke. Management did not communicate until a significant number of employees decided to leave.

Pros

Good work-life balance compared to many consulting companies. Stable environment and structured processes.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to large corporate structure. Salary growth may feel slower than at startups or U.S.-based tech companies.
