Where do I start? Extremely political, favoritism abounds and the company creates its own problems. Let’s talk about the 100 people who were laid off in the US this week. Marketing/HR will spin it as “restructuring” “realignment” blah blah blah. The reality is this company is sinking like the Titanic and no one wants to be honest about it.

Silo-strategy, with departments and sectors setup as segregated, causes reactionary decision making rather than smart proactive progression in improvement initiative buy-in. Inter-departmental LEAN thinking can be challenging.
