Pros

Great Entrepreneurial spirit, Great offices (In Denmark at least) and being part of an exciting future is of course .... exciting

Cons

The company/Group is filled with politics. It doesn't matter what you do or how you do it. If you don't play the politics with the German headquarters it doesn't really matter. They will not trust you in any way, they will actively work against you and treat you with utter contempt if you dare to have ideas different than theirs. This applied to me, I saw it applied to my predecessor in my role and from rumors I hear it was applied to my successor who lasted less than 2 years in the role and then left the company. In addition, the company acted as the place of export of anyone in the Siemens World who had high ambitions and low skills - they were inundated with short term seconded people who were more interested in their own career than in the company's long term well being.

Pros

Excellent benefits for a laborer role paying hourly. Salary plus OT guarantees 40 hrs a week. Also pays 1.5x for any work over 8 hours in a day, all day on Saturdays, and 2x on Sundays. 12 hours a month PTO

Cons

A major struggle to move up or receive a raise aside from an annual 1-5%, typically 3%, merit increase.
