      There is room for making a career, although it isn't as fast as other places. Also, a lot of opportunities to live abroad

      Cons

      Lot of bureocracy. To achieve higher positions, it's necessary to do a lot of politics. The general siemens employee isn't as good as they think they are.

      Excellent benefits for a laborer role paying hourly. Salary plus OT guarantees 40 hrs a week. Also pays 1.5x for any work over 8 hours in a day, all day on Saturdays, and 2x on Sundays. 12 hours a month PTO

      Cons

      A major struggle to move up or receive a raise aside from an annual 1-5%, typically 3%, merit increase.
