Pros
You have a ton of freedom in the sales role and are expected to perform but there aren't managers breathing down your neck unless you aren't performing. The company culture is great and everyone truly does want to help. Great place to work if you want to have freedom and not be sitting behind a desk all day long.
Cons
The base salary for a sales role compared to other industries is about average I would say. The upside is pretty limited due to the commission structure and competition in the market depending on margin requirements. If you are able to land deals that are 3+ million, which are far and few between, you can make decent money on them but you probably only get one or two opportunities are year for those and even those payouts are not spectacular like you would find in other industries.
