Pros

For the time being, is financially stable - lack of investment in newer technology is losing market share to competitors.

Cons

Yearly performance raises, even for highly performing employees are extremely low, sometimes completely non-existent. Promotions are given predominantly to members of the "good ole boy network" or based entirely on nationality. Excessive amount of money spent to offer the best positions to and move/ totally support 'ex-pats' without any opportunity for locals or Americans to apply. Since becoming a "wholly owned French company", the work and atmosphere have totally degraded.

Pros

Nice people to work with, not too pushy from direct supervisor

Cons

Pay is not as high as other big pharma, work culture starting to become toxic. We are starting to get more and more micromanaged in terms of needing to log exact work hours in the work computer. That becomes difficult when you are lab facing and not always on your laptop
