Pros
You can expect to be involved in all the aspects of the product/project you are working on. The staff does anything so you feel comfortable. You are able to meet with whoever you wish up to the vice chairman (if available) and your performance is all up to you.
Cons
Lack of background knowledge in the pharma or biotechnology industry might hold you back, though you get quite good support for that as well
