Pros

Safelite has decent medical coverage along with dental and eye coverage. They also have paid vacation. There is always lots of work to do.

Cons

No clock out time, you are required to work until the work is done, even if that means you work 12 hours straight. There are no breaks, however you will be required to punch out for lunch but you won't actually have time to take a lunch break. Too much work is always scheduled and there is never enough staff. Safelite will never tell you to slow down due to extreme heat or give you less work. Safelite will give installation compliance manuals which you are required to sign and expect you to study them while not being paid to do so. Safelite will claim to want a positive culture but what they really mean is they want you to pretend to be happy and not talk negatively about them. Safelite is not family oriented you will they do not care if you make it to your kids ball game. Safelite will require you to work weekends also.Safelite's PPP pay program is a joke.

Pros

Working hours, easy to learn, great environment.

Cons

The 1 minute late, rule. If you’re ONE minute late from break, lunch, or even clocking in.. it counts toward your “infractions”. You can only get 3 for the first 60 days. Even if your wifi goes out, you get sick.. anything. It counts.

Pros

The fact that they will teach you and train you to install Auto Glass? Cannot answer this truthfully

Cons

I've applied twice to the tech training position. The first time I thought that I may have made an error? The Yellow Brick Rd location had adds for 18 positions available. I applied again fixing what I thought the issue to be. I was again sent an email that they were not moving to the next step with me. This makes ZERO sense. I was just recently a slot tech out of Horseshoe. I also was a tech for a company that handed a few interior pieces for Amtrak.
