Pros
People you will work with are very easy to get along with and the company has some nice perks including generous time off for paternity leave and a company owned resort that you are allowed to utilize. In terms of pay many positions are at or above market level and in most years there is profit sharing. The company takes part in a lot of activities to improve the overall general welfare of the community (back packs with school supplies for school children, Earth day clean up, etc).
Cons
The company culture has changed dramatically over the last five years from one that was focused on people and relationships to one that seems to be a carbon copy of other large consumer products companies. Many managers and senior level leaders were brought in from the outside which has resulted in many talented people that built the company being pushed aside, let go, taking early retirement or leaving the company out of overall frustration. The company is currently going through a restructuring that is still in process.
