Pros
Amazing work life balance here, at least within the JMP Division. Excellent managers who have a very detailed grasp of the work you do so you feel like you're doing important tasks everyday. Low cost of living in the area so the pay can go a long way.
Cons
Legacy Software / huge codebase. Making changes to the codebase can feel like a delicate balance at times where you really don't want to mess up things that have been the same way for several decades. Things can feel slow moving at times, especially around the holiday season. Private company so no stock based compensation
