      Pros

      Great experience working with many different teams within one enormous company. Social media is promoted within the company to encourage knowledge sharing and better team community. Good experience working within one of the largest software companies in the world. Lots of opportunity to move into different roles within the same company.

      Cons

      Large companies are often inundated with processes that get in the way of your work. SAP is no different. It sometimes takes months to get paperwork approved and alot of times you don't know where the delay is occurring. Benefits are not as good as you would have within a smaller software company in my experience.

      Pros

      The people at SAP are genuinely nice, and the culture is generally supportive. The work-life balance is good to an extent, but when you're busy, you're BUSY. SAP is highly complex so expect to take a year to ramp up.

      Cons

      Only way to get a high salary is if you're hired externally. They do not reward employees who are loyal to the company. Closed opportunities often have to go through the Compensation Exception Committee, creating uncertainty around earnings. Prepare for constant change, whether that's solutions being removed from your sales bag, account shifts, territory realignments, or changing compensation policies. Quotas can be difficult to attain
