Pros

Looking forward to 5PM everyday, no more blitzes,one-on-ones, or useless micromanagement meetings. Didn't have to waste 2 weeks of my life attending "Sales 101 for dummies".

Cons

Micromanagement, Micromanagement, and more micromanagement. WAY too many meetings, favoritism, and office paperwork. Management says one thing and does another. One week they are your friend, the next they stab you in the back. Turnover is TERRIBLE. CRM "Sales Force" is useless because the turnover is so bad, it never gets updated enough to be useful. You spend horus and hours in meetings day in and day out, but at the same time they want you in the field in front of customers? Dont see how that makes any sense. Very contradictory. This is not inside sales, its "how to have a meeting" sales. Expect you to purchase useless sales books, and then you dont get reimbursed for it. Company car allowance and base pay is a joke. Most cases you are expected to sell a brand new machine, and the commission for all that paperwork and multiple customer visits is around $130 (before taxes).

Pros

• Decent pay • Great benifits • Car allowance/reimbursement for a personal vehicle and depreciation • The ability to travel and build relationships with customers • Learning mechanical and electrical skills • Independence and teamwork

Cons

• They just started enforcing the new commute policy which requires technicians to now give the company an hour of their time to and from work, if the customer is that distance away from their home at the beginning or end of day. Ultimately stealing up to 2 hours from the technician every single day and effectively punishing you for living so far away from a customer site. • Always coming with new ways to screw over technicians. They also just implemented new metrics that contribute to or take away from your bonus. • Sales reps usually always get the wrong equipment delivered to a customer and you have to be the one to deal with a screwed up mess • Lack of communication between sales/deliveries/management
