Pros

Management team is in tune with th market and is willing to listen to employees. Good products. Potential for great compensation provided you get in through the right channels. Handled the 2009 downturn with tact and class although management had to make some tough decisions.

Cons

Somewhat difficult to advance your career due to recent hiring freezes. Communication at the middle management level could be better. Reportedly, compensation is greatly dependent on how you get in and who you know. Constant, unsubstantiated rumors of mergers and takeovers. Some really questionable acquisitions over the last couple of years, but hey, we all make mistakes!

Pros

The new ELT has been making a lot of changes to shift Quest to newer products, focus, and GTM strategies. This has been much needed, and the future looks much brighter. Regardless of the changes, the culture of respect and inclusivity and people-support has remained. I would refer Quest as an employer, especially the Legal department, to anyone I know.

Cons

As with any period of changes and redirected focus, there has been some turmoil in reductions, tool/platform changes, etc. This would be a tough environment for anyone who has trouble adapting.
