Pros

There are no pros. I am trying to get away as quickly and silently as I can.

Cons

I wish I could give zero stars for culture. Everyone walking around depressed. Meeting rooms, whiteboard walls, and desks all engineered for collaboration but environment is such as though there are steel walls around every person and department: product research, function, design, electrical, etc....EXTREME siloing. I am trying to get away as soon as I can after I have uncovered major unethical practices. And these unethical practices are coming from those who adhere strictly to all the"rules" and processes...talk about major hypocrisy. Very dumb people. High turnover rate. Rigid to any change. People not keeping up with the change in market. Open your eyes, what has worked before may not work now because the market is changing! If you are smart enough to realize what is going on then you will run away. Managers and team leads focused on meeting deadlines and deliverables to get their bonuses with no care about the actual product. I can go on and on.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
