Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you appreciated some aspects of your experience, such as the provided resources and certain colleagues. However, we’re deeply concerned and disappointed to read about the negative aspects of your time with us.
We strive to create a workplace that is supportive, inclusive, and respectful for all employees, and we take allegations of a toxic work environment and management issues very seriously. The experiences you’ve described are not reflective of the culture we aim to foster here at Octopus Energy and would love to chat with you directly to understand this more.
As a company, we acknowledge that diversity and inclusion is an ever-changing area that we seek insight on to continuously improve. At present, we support diversity and inclusion with the following implementations;
- A wellness sensory room - to support our neurodiverse staff
NDCID groups to continue work around neurodiversity and chronic
illnesses
- Support groups for hormone health
- Signposting cinema, podcasts and books for the queer

- Events for Black History Month, which have led to continuous
conversations
We note that events are a great opportunity to support causes close to our teams and we work to signpost and support wherever possible and we are open to feedback to continuously improve and ask for feedback every week from our team through Officevibe.
