Thank you for leaving us a review and sharing your experience at Octopus Energy.
It's good to hear that there were some good points about working with us. I'm sorry that there were some things that you did not enjoy.
With regards to reward/salary for our team, we've clearly outlined a pathway for increasing salary, most notably through skills academy which was revamped over the summer for greater clarity. Furthermore, we have and will continue to factor in inflation as we increase the salary for all of our team. We regularly review the local market and data suggests we are quickest employers in Leicester at increasing salary for our team and providing pathways to increasing it.
I'm really sorry to hear that you left with a not so positive impression of Octopus. I know that we're not a perfect organisation, but my door is always open to hear about what we did not do as well as we could have done, and do better. I would love the opportunity to hear more about your experience to see whether there are some specific actions we can take to address these points. We work hard to make the working environment safe and supportive. We also do a lot of work within the leadership team to create an inclusive and welcoming culture so I'm concerned to hear about your experience.
