Pros

As it operates in pharma industry, provides Secured and Stady job. The cost pressure is lesser compared to other organizations. People focus organization, provide many benefits and career growth. extremely low attrition. Unbossed culture and a open environment to work, there is no restriction to get involved in new projects or take up additional responsibilities. Its a good place for someone who want to go beyond their job responsibilities, and learn more, contribute more and grow. Plenty of opportunity. But if you are someone who depends on your manager or circumstances to push you pick up new stuff, this place will disappoint you, as nobody will ask you anything and over the year you will realize, you are not relevant.

Cons

Training programs are not effective. Learning here could be difficult unless you take additional steps. Mandatory trainings are not insightful, very less classroom trainings. Outside trainers are not hired so the quality of the training is not up to the industry standards. Even though IJPs are there, but overall role rotation is limited and people continue to do similar role for years after years. Lack of coordination across departments. even though it is not horrible, however there is opportunity to improve. Overall change here is very slow and take lot of time. The working floors are quiet, not filled with energy, conversations, activities, fun. People here like to do their work silently and all discussions happens in meeting room. If you come from Amazon, or Accenture kind of organization you will feel a huge difference. Off-site team dinners are always there but it is more of a professional environment.

Pros

Pays pretty well in comparison to similar jobs in the market

Cons

Unstable schedule where you are often asked to come in overnight (1-2 am) regardless of if you have worked the previous day or are off. Basically feels like you're permanently on-call to conduct environmental monitoring. Training is slow. The Micro dept in general is currently understaffed. The job also involves lab work once you are done with your daily environmental monitoring tasks. The work never ceases and the Technicians as a whole has several responsibilities. Promotions seem to come very slowly here.
