Employees are not a priority - RN-Urgent Care Northside Hospital Employee Review

Pros

A paycheck and the patients.

Cons

Sexual harassment, doctors having affairs with patients and asking staff to lie about it, management changing time clocks and trying to push out good, seasoned employees, while also trying to dictate their lives OUTSIDE of the hospital (i.e. who can hang out with/what you can do.) Doctors and managers making fun of patients AND employees. H.R. department and "employee relations" do not care and will not respond to calls or emails. They're also apparently there just to earn a paycheck. I don't know why they keep replying to all of these reviews. They won't do anything to change the environment. Its all about that bottom line.

Pros

I have been privileged to work for Northside Hospital for the past five years, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. During my tenure, I have benefited from the organization's commitment to employee growth through its annual internal promotion policy, which has allowed me to advance within my current department. One of the aspects I value most is Northside's support for work-life balance and professional development. While working here, I was able to begin my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program from the ground up and am on track to graduate in December 2026. The flexibility and encouragement provided by the organization have played a significant role in helping me pursue my educational goals while continuing to contribute as an employee. I was a full-time employee for most of my career with the organization and recently transitioned to part-time status to accommodate the increased demands of my nursing program. The support and understanding shown by management throughout this process have reinforced my appreciation for the company's employee-centered culture. I am grateful for the opportunities, professional growth, and support I have received over the past five years.

Cons

None that I can think of right now
