      Pros

      Northside Hospital system is a great place to work as a whole! Northside Cherokee is my home campus and I love it here. We have a close-knit team and every department is committed to collaboration for excellent patient care. Leadership strives to create a culture of safety for both patient and staff. We strive for a spirit of true teamwork!

      Cons

      All organizations have opportunities for improvement and I can say we are no different. The difference is the approach to embrace these opportunities and improve care as we learn from each occurrence or suggestion from patients and staff. The commitment to excellence and continuous improvement from NS Leadership is unparalleled

      Pros

      -some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

      Cons

      -low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
