Pros
Priority is on a true culture of caring for patients. Good benefits, including paid days+money for CME. In general, APPs are valued and utilized widely in the system. Good educational opportunities.
Cons
Everyone receives a yearly merit increase, but true compensation review is convoluted and challenging to obtain. MDs have rest lounge, gym, and meal lounge badge access, free cafeteria food, and cell phone stipends, but APPs do not. Not a lot of committee opportunities for APPs.
