True team atmosphere, supportive direct leader, and autonomy to make decisions

Cons

Lacks flexibility in regard to WFH compared to area and industry, culture can be difficult esp for someone who has corporate office experience compared to hospital setting

Student nurse extern

-some of the nurses on the floor were nice -gets your foot in the door with a hospital as a student -supportive management on the floor i was hired on

Cons

-low pay for what you put up with -was mainly working as a patient care tech as opposed to a nurse extern -nurses on the med/surg floors weren’t very nice and willing to help -don’t feel like i got enough training -the pre shift anxiety was horrendous
