Pros
- you will work in international company. You will meet lots of new people from different cultures, different areas, it is a great experience to work in such company - high level of respect and generally very warm attitude from people. Overall atmosphere of the company is "finish" - very calm, very slow, but still - everybody is in positive spirit - there are still really innovative areas to work if you are technical persons, but note - this company is ruled by managers and HR, it will never be Google/Facebook/Twitter type of innovations. - in some countries pay is above average in the market, but it is almost impossible to get raise in pay. - good work-life balance, results matter most - no any control freaks in management
Cons
- this company is ruled by HR and middle management. Top management cannot really push anything innovative if it doesn't please middle management. And forget about any promotion in global if you are not in Finland or Germany. - Right now due cost control obsessions in most of the countries daily allowance are changed to meal reimbursement. So when you eat you have to keep the ticket and there is a max amount allow. Now hold on to your chair - max daily for Prague 21 eur/day (!!), Munich 28eur/day, Helsinki 45eur/day. It is so disrespectful and it shameful to be an employee and preplan your meals per day, calculate in a restaurant. Now I just prefer not to travel to avoid unnecessary stress with all those tickets, reports and etc. - this company tries to be Services company but it is still very far from it. Take a look a customer portal - it is still using technologies from 20th century (like iFrames)
