Pros

None whatsoever at this company.

Cons

Unprofessional Behavior: The interviewer Pratik was 20 minutes late to our scheduled interview without any apology or explanation. When the interview finally started, it felt rushed and disorganized. During the interview, the interviewer was frequently distracted, checking their phone and responding to messages, which made me feel undervalued and disrespected. Lack of Preparation: It was clear that the interviewer had not reviewed my resume beforehand. They asked basic questions that could have been answered by simply glancing at my application. There were no specific questions about my skills or experiences. Instead, the interviewer seemed to be reading generic questions off a script without understanding their relevance. Inaccurate Job Description: The job description provided by the recruiter did not match what the interviewer described during the meeting. The role's responsibilities and required skills were entirely different from what I was led to believe. This mismatch made me question the credibility of the staffing company and their understanding of the client's needs. Lack of Professionalism: There was no follow-up after the interview. I was not informed whether I was selected for the next round or not, and my emails seeking feedback went unanswered. The whole process felt very transactional, with little regard for my time and effort. It seemed like they were more interested in filling a quota rather than finding a good match for the position.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.

Pros

- Strong global presence allows for diverse projects, clients, and opportunities - Enabled and encouraged to learn new technologies, use tools, and grow skills - Generally supportive teams and cross collaboration - Great work-life balance in many roles

Cons

- Compensation and raises can be slow, infrequency, and below market - Personal Development review process can be unclear and slow - Processes and decision making around them can feel very outdated, there seems to be a lack of structure and clarity around many HR and business operations areas - Very little employee recognition - Critical benefits information isn’t distributed well and there is zero follow up actions to ensure we have all important access/accounts set up
