Pros

Most of the people at NTT Ltd. are good people. They're experts in their area and they work well with their colleagues. The areas of business are interesting and NTT is the leader in some of them.

Cons

The senior management team that have been brought in are shockingly bad. A first-time CEO who was part of the McKinsey consulting team during the NTT Ltd. integration process, and then named CEO. His biggest achievement has been to fill positions with McKinsey cronies, while bleating about diversity. The problems don't end there. He's brought in "turn around artists" that have created a toxic environment, because they have no skin in the game and will be off to the next job shortly.

Pros

I have worked with NTT DATA as a government IT and project management consultant since 2018, starting with Cognosante before the acquisition. My experience has been very positive. I have had the autonomy to focus on the success of my team and my client, while also having the support of a large, high-performing organization. There are real opportunities for growth, strong training resources, and leaders who genuinely care about employees, clients, and the communities they serve. I have also been promoted during my time here, which reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent.

Cons

As with many large organizations, processes and systems and can sometimes take time to navigate, especially during periods of growth or transition. Continued focus on communication and simplifying internal processes would make the employee experience even stronger.
